About the Authors

Dennis King is one of South Africa's most prominent underwater photographers. He has made many photographic contributions to scientific publications, books and magazines, and was responsible for discovering Apolemichthys kingi, an angelfish new to science and named after him. He is the author and photographer of Reef Fishes & Corals: East Coast of Southern Africa (Struik, 1996).

Valda Fraser is an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer. She has documented new distribution records, has helped identify numerous species of nudibranch, and has discovered many undescribed species.
