The large carnivores of Africa are superior, powerful, skilful and feared. From the big cats to the endangered wild dog and Ethiopian wolf, the often-maligned hyaenas and the opportunistic jackal, these hunters captivate, fascinate and excite, and provide the raw drama of Africa so eagerly sought by many wildlife lovers. Mills' examination of their behaviour, social make-up, relations and interactions is supported by Harvey's superb and dramatic photography.
